 Can I pay in US dollars?
Yes. When you use your credit card, Visa will automatically make the conversion and post the US dollar amount to your statement. The exchange rate will be the rate for the day the charge is posted to your account. If you pay with Paypal, they will also automatically convert Canadian dollars into US dollars.
 Can I shorten or change the content written by WindyMail?
Yes, within reasonable parameters, you can make changes to the content to fit your particular needs and specifications. For example, you might want to add a particular call to action to the end of the article. Or you may want to include a special offer for your list in the newsletter.
 Can I track how many people are reading my newsletter?

Yes, WindyMail has a Stats page where you can view the open rates.

 Can I use my own branded template?

Yes, you can upload your template directly into your WindyMail account.  It becomes the default setting for your account.

 Can I use my WindyMail account to write my own newsletter as well?

Yes, you may send messages to your list in between the monthly newsletters.  The total sent must not exceed your WindyMail plan.  For example, if your plan allows you to send 5000 emails per month, and you have 1600 people on your list, you can send two additional newsletters.  If you have 2400, you may send one additional newsletter.

 Do you accept paypal or cheques?

We accept PayPal and cheques but only under circumstances where client is unable to process payment using credit card. In order to arrange for paypal or cheque payment, please contact us at support@windymail.com for payment instructions.

 How do I add email addresses to my WindyMail account?

The email addresses of your present list may be added individually or may be uploaded by WindyMail tech support into your account from either CSV(comma separated value) formats.  Please contact us for more information.

 How do I know that my email newsletter won’t be blocked by a spam filter?

At WindyMail we know you want your email to reach your clients.  No one can guarantee 100% deliverability but we have several strategies in place to make sure we are giving you the best possible service.

First, we put the content of your email newsletter through a spamchecker.

Secondly, WindyMail has its own server which means only WindyMail clients send from our internet address.  Your service will not be disrupted by other people spamming.

Thirdly, WindyMail supports only permission-based email lists.  We reserve the right to discontinue service to any client who buys lists and who is adversely affecting the integrity of our email marketing.

 What if I don't have an opt-in page? Or a website?

You can use WindyMail's Subscription Form Generator.  Your subscribers can opt in from your website or from an email.

 What if I want to use the content from another category for a particular month?

For each month you have the option of choosing your newsletter content from whichever one of the twelve categories you prefer. You can choose any content that is timely or of special interest to your list. 

 What will be in the subject line of each email?

Clients can use the title of the article for each monthly newsletter or create your own title for it.

You can also create a title that is consistent from month to month.

For example, News from Your Company, Issue #1, January 2006.

 What will the 'from' address be for the members of my list?

The from address will be newsletter@windymail.com.  WindyMail clients have the option to input their own address but it is highly recommended that you use our address in order to avoid a conflict with reverse lookup that would lower delivery rate.
